You are standing in a clothes shop holding a jumper, with no idea whether it will fit. Or you simply don't know what style someone likes. Clothes are a personal gift, which is exactly what makes them tricky to buy for someone else.
With a fashioncheque, you still give clothes, but the recipient picks what they actually like. That could be at a big fashion chain or at a small boutique around the corner.
Where can you spend a fashioncheque?
You can spend a fashioncheque on clothes and shoes at participating shops and web shops.
In store: have the barcode scanned at the till.
Online: at checkout, choose "fashioncheque" or "Gift card" as your payment method. Then enter the 19-digit card number and the 6-digit security code (SC). Don't use the discount code field for this.
For some web shops, such as Zalando and H&M, you first exchange your fashioncheque for a gift card from that shop. You can do this on the exchange page of the fashioncheque website. The shopfinder on fashioncheque.com always shows the latest list of participating shops.
fashioncheque Netherlands or Belgium: which one should you choose?
At 2GO Software, you can choose between the fashioncheque for the Netherlands and the one for Belgium. Pick the card for the country where the recipient lives.
Both cards also work across the border: a Dutch fashioncheque can be used in Belgium, and vice versa. According to the terms and conditions, both cards can also be used in countries including Germany, Denmark, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Check the shopfinder to see which shops take part in each country.
How to order a fashioncheque from 2GO Software
Choose the country and enter an amount between €5 and €150. Then pay the way you prefer, for example with PayPal, credit card or iDEAL | Wero.
Once you have paid, the code is available straight away in your account. You can forward it, or print it and pop it in a card. A fashioncheque is not tied to a specific person, so anyone who has the code can use it.

When is something else a better fit?
Does the recipient shop almost exclusively at Zalando? Then a Zalando gift card is more convenient, as you don't need to exchange it first.

You can check the balance with the balance checker on fashioncheque.com. You'll need the 19-digit card number and the 6-digit SC code. It also shows the expiry date.
No. You can spend your fashioncheque in several goes. Whatever you don't use stays on the card. The card can't be topped up, and the balance can't be paid out.
No. A fashioncheque bought online is activated immediately. That means the right of withdrawal doesn't apply and you can't return it. So double-check the country and the amount before you pay.
